Creating a Branded Business Card

In today's video, we're going to talk about how to make a custom-branded business card using the Agent Elite Design Studio. To get started let's go ahead and select the real estate templates from the left-hand column and select the business card section. Now you'll see a lot of different business card designs available to you here. You can choose anyone you like. They modify exactly the same. I'm going to go with this one so I'm going to click create design. Let's take a look at it real quick and make sure that it's what we want. That looks good.

So click Create Design again. Now this is gonna take a few seconds, but within about six or seven seconds, the system will generate a fully complete and ready-to-go design. And there it is. All right, perfect. Now, for me, I'm not a big fan of the bathtub in the background, so I wanna change that. Let's start with that. Let's double-click on it, and that'll open up your downloads. And you can choose any one of the downloads that you want. I like...

and you can grab that photo and you can center it any way you like.

I want to make my logo bigger so let's go ahead and click on the logo. You're going to grab the corner of the logo and you're just going to drag it until it's the size that you like. Now when you're making changes to the size of elements make sure that you're aware of the alignment of it. We don't want this to be way out of line with the rest of the card. We want everything to look tidy and professional.

I also want to increase the size of my name. Now you can do a lot with the text. You can change the fonts, you can change the size, you can give it shadows, you can do all kinds of things. Pretty standard editor. I'm just gonna make it a little bit bigger for this purpose. Go ahead and again, I'm gonna bring this up because I like to be at the top of my card. I'm gonna also increase the size of my title.

And again, remember I'm keeping everything aligned. And now I personally want my licensing to be at the bottom of the screen, at the bottom of the card rather. I'm gonna go ahead and drag this down. I'm gonna leave that information at the bottom. I'm gonna make my contact information a little bit larger. So let's bring that up.

And I'm also going to reformat my layout here. So I like this in a two-color, a two-row format. Let me bring that up.

All right, that is us done with the first page of the card. Very happy with that. All right, now that we're done with the first side of the card, let's go ahead and look at the backside. All right, I wanna change that photo. I'm not a big fan of that. So I'm gonna double click the photo, select my uploads once again. Then I'm gonna pick a photo that I think looks good. I think I'm gonna go with this one.

All right now we need to adjust the centering on that.

Okay, that looks good.

I also want to adjust the size and location of my logo. So again, I'm going to do the same as on the front. Grab the corner, drag it, make it a little bit larger, and then align it with the other elements on the page.

All right, that looks good.

All right, let's just scroll up and make sure everything looks the way we want it to. Yeah, I'm satisfied with this. OK, so now I have some options. I can click print and I can actually send this to the online print shop. I'm going to go through the steps on that. OK, now once that loads up, it's going to give you the option for any of the finishing options. It takes a second to load up here, so we're waiting on that. OK, great. There's the card. And let's take a look at it. Yep, looks good.

So let's scroll down a little bit here. Okay, here's where we select our paper type. You can select standard stock. You can go to double thick, triple thick, whatever. I like the Premier Stock soft touch. I like the feel of a nice soft touch card. And I'm gonna order a thousand pieces.

And of course you're going to have to pay the FedEx shipping, but once you're done, you can send that to your cart and away we go. Simple as that. Now that's not your only option. So let's jump back to the design. Okay, the other thing that you can do is you can download this and print it yourself. So I would click download and I'm actually going to download this and click download. This is going to give you two high quality PDF images to work with.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1:  Access Business Card Templates

• Select Real Estate Templates from the left-hand column.
• Scroll down to the Business Card section.

Step 2:  Select and Preview a Template

• Browse the available business card designs. Select the one you like.
• Click Create Design to load your selected template.
• Review the design. If satisfied, click Create Design again.

Step 3:  Customize the Background Image

• If you don't like the default background, change it by:
  • Double-clicking on the image.
  • Selecting a new photo from your downloads.
  • Adjust and center the photo to your liking by clicking on the image and dragging it to your desired position.

Step 4:  Resize and Align the Logo (Optional)

• To make your logo bigger:
  • Click on the logo.
  • Drag the corner to adjust its size.
  • Click and drag the image to ensure proper alignment with the rest of the elements to maintain a tidy, professional look.

Step 5:  Modify the Text (Optional)

• Increase the size of your name by selecting the text and making adjustments.
• Customize your title:
  • Change its size and position, ensuring it stays aligned with other text.
• Reformat your contact information:
  • Increase its size.
  • If preferred, arrange the details in a two-row format.
  • Move your licensing info to the bottom of the card if desired by dragging the text box down.

Step 6:  Customize the Backside of the Card

• To change the backside photo:
  • Double-click the current image.
  • Select a new one from your uploads; to adjust its centering click and drag the image.
• Resize and align the logo on the backside as you did on the front.

Step 7:   Review and Finalize

• Scroll through the design to ensure everything is correctly aligned and sized.
• Once satisfied, you can proceed to print or download the card.

Step 8:  Printing Options

• Print Online:
  • Click Print to send the design to the online print shop.
  • Choose your finishing options (e.g., Premier Stock soft touch).
  • Select the quantity (e.g., 1,000 pieces) and proceed with the order.
• Download for Local Printing:
  • Click Download to save two high-quality PDF images.
  • Use these PDFs to print the cards yourself or at a local print shop.
