Video Transcript
00:01
The Agent Elite Design Studio makes it super easy to generate high quality social media posts for the holidays. If you're like me, you want to send out high quality greetings for all of the major holidays, but sometimes you get busy. So what I do is generate all of my holiday social media posts at the beginning of the year. So I do that by going into the Design Studio, and on the left hand side I select Real Estate
00:30
As you start going through the social media post templates, you'll see that there's several already created for major holidays. Now I'm going to start with this Independence Day design. So I'm going to click create design. And as soon as I've done that, that design is going to automatically be modified and completed exactly the way I want it. And it's actually ready to go to print. It's got my colors, it's got my logo, and it's ready to go. All I need to do is download this and then it's going to be ready for me to use in social
01:02
Now I know you saw how easy that was, but let's do it one more time. So let's go back into the social media posts, but this time let's do a Valentine's day post. So again, super simple. All you have to do is click on the design and it's going to do almost all of the work for you. You just need to make sure that once it opens up, that your logos look good and that there's no information here that you don't want to convey to your customers. And again, this one looks really good. So I'm just going to download it.
01:32
Okay, now that that's downloaded, if you use a social media marketing manager, you can actually schedule these weeks and even months in advance. Okay, let's get out of this and let's go find another one. Okay, Halloween may be my favorite time of year, so let's go with this. This time we're gonna modify the design. So I'm gonna change the background photos. So to do that, I'm gonna double click on the photo and then I'm gonna go select the Halloween photo I've selected from my uploads.
02:02
And I'm just gonna drag that photo until it's where I want it to be and it looks good to me.
02:09
and I want to change the color of my text because I think it will look better. And I'm going to use the hexadecimal code of my business color because it's orange. And when I enter that, that's automatically going to change the color. And now I'm just going to drag these down and center them up. And that purple line that shows up there means that they're centered and bam, just like that. My Halloween design is done and customized. Super easy. And I'm going to download that too.
02:41
Now it's just a matter of uploading it into your social media marketing manager. And you can do this for all of the holidays. All right, now the templates have designs for a lot of the major holidays, but not all of them. So if you want to make one for a holiday that doesn't exist, let me show you how. There's not a design for Memorial Day. So what I'm going to do in this case is I'm going to grab the Veterans Day design and modify it. So let me load that up.
03:08
Okay, first thing I want to do here is change the background. So I'm going to double click on that. And then I'm going to select a photo that I think will work for Memorial Day. Okay, that looks good. Let me just recenter that photo. Okay, now I need to change the text. So I click on the text, I go to the top of the page and I change the font size. All right, now I want to change the words as well. So I double click on the words, select all, and then I type in what I want it to read.
03:37
To increase visibility, I'm going to make that bold and black.
03:43
Alright, let's change veteran's day to Memorial Day.
03:51
And let's adjust the placement a little. Okay, I like that. And let's go ahead and make that text black as well.
04:03
Alright and just like that we've got another design ready to save and download.
04:12
As you can see, the Design Studio makes it really easy to get on top of your holiday social media, but keep in mind your social media should be coming all year long, so be spontaneous with it as well. Alright, so you're looking at the examples that we just created. I think we can agree they look great, but if you struggle at any time while you're using the Design Studio, feel free to go to our Knowledge Base. It's help.agentelite.com. Thanks so much. I'll see you in the next video.

Things to Consider When Creating Holiday Social Media Posts
1. Holiday Content Planning
Plan Ahead: Create a content calendar that includes major holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.) and relevant local or cultural celebrations. Preparing in advance allows for thoughtful, high-quality content.
Align with Business Goals: Decide which holidays are most relevant to your audience and how holiday posts can support your goals — such as increasing engagement, building brand awareness, or driving inquiries.
2. Content Ideas for Holiday Posts
Festive Property Showcases: Highlight properties by showing how they could be decorated for the holidays. Use seasonal decor in your listings or create a holiday-themed video tour to capture the festive spirit.
Local Holiday Events and Guides: Share information about local holiday events, markets, light displays, or seasonal activities. Position yourself as a local expert who understands the community.
Holiday Tips and Advice: Provide helpful tips related to the holidays, such as home staging for holiday buyers, preparing a home for winter, or tips for holiday decorating.
Holiday Greetings: Create personalized holiday greeting posts wishing your audience a happy holiday season. Use festive graphics or a short video message to add a personal touch.
Charitable Giving and Community Involvement: Showcase your involvement in local charities, food drives, or community service projects. Highlighting your community engagement can build trust and goodwill with potential clients.
Client Appreciation: Share a post thanking your clients and partners for their support throughout the year. Consider creating a holiday client spotlight or testimonial to share positive experiences.
Festive Competitions and Giveaways: Organize holiday-themed contests or giveaways to encourage engagement. For example, a photo contest of the best holiday decorations or a giveaway for a local gift card.
3. Visual Elements
Use Festive Graphics: Incorporate holiday-themed visuals like snowflakes, ornaments, lights, and seasonal colors into your graphics. Use consistent branding while adding a festive touch.
Include Personal or Team Photos: Share photos of you or your team celebrating the holidays, decorating the office, or engaging in holiday activities. This can humanize your brand and make it more relatable.
4. Messaging and Tone
Stay Positive and Inclusive: Keep your messaging cheerful, positive, and inclusive. Recognize that not everyone celebrates the same holidays, so use neutral or universal greetings where appropriate (e.g., "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings").
Personalize Messages: Tailor your holiday messages to reflect your brand’s personality. Use a warm and friendly tone that resonates with your audience.
5. Timing and Frequency
Schedule Strategically: Post holiday content leading up to and during the holiday season to stay relevant. Avoid posting too far in advance or too late after the holiday has passed.
Adjust Frequency: During holidays, people may be busier or less active on social media. Balance your posting frequency to avoid overloading your audience but stay visible.
6. Engagement and Interaction
Encourage Interaction: Ask questions, run polls, or create posts that invite followers to share their holiday plans or traditions. Use captions that prompt likes, comments, and shares to boost engagement.
Monitor and Respond: Be active in responding to comments, messages, and any holiday greetings from your audience. This shows you are engaged and values their interaction.
7. Leverage Stories and Short-Form Content
Use Stories for Real-Time Content: Share behind-the-scenes content, quick holiday greetings, or real-time updates using Stories on Instagram or Facebook. This creates a sense of immediacy and engagement.
Create Short Videos: Use short videos or Reels to showcase holiday décor ideas, local holiday events, or quick home-buying tips for the season.
8. Offer Holiday Promotions and Incentives
Seasonal Promotions: Consider offering special promotions, such as reduced commissions, free home staging, or holiday gift cards for referrals.
Gift Ideas and Discounts: Partner with local businesses to provide holiday gift guides or exclusive discounts, showcasing your community ties and adding value for your audience.
9. Be Mindful of Cultural Sensitivities
Inclusive Content: Recognize the diversity in your audience. Celebrate a range of holidays (e.g., Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali) or opt for general holiday greetings that encompass all celebrations.
Respect Different Traditions: Avoid making assumptions about which holidays your audience celebrates. Keep your content respectful and avoid potentially controversial or divisive topics.
10. Highlight the Local Market During Holidays
Market Insights: Share insights into how the holiday season affects the local real estate market, such as tips for buying or selling during the holidays.
Winterization Tips: Provide advice on preparing a home for winter weather or how to make a home cozier and more appealing to potential buyers during the colder months.
11. Showcase Community Spirit
Feature Local Businesses: Promote local businesses by highlighting holiday shopping spots, restaurants, or events. This demonstrates your local knowledge and supports community connections.
Participate in Community Events: If you or your brokerage are involved in any holiday charity events or sponsorships, share these activities to build goodwill and show community commitment.
12. Use Analytics to Measure Success
Track Engagement Metrics: Use social media analytics to measure the effectiveness of your holiday posts. Pay attention to engagement rates, shares, and comments to identify what resonates most.
Adjust Future Content: Use insights from your analytics to refine your holiday content strategy for the next season, focusing on what worked well.
13. Have Fun and Be Authentic
Show Personality: The holidays are a great time to show your personality. Don’t be afraid to have fun with your posts, whether it’s through humorous content, light-hearted videos, or festive memes.
By focusing on these considerations, you can create a holiday-themed social media strategy that effectively engages your audience, builds your brand, and leverages the festive season to strengthen relationships and generate new leads.
